Generally Me | An Introduction to Exclusive Multiplicity (The Podcast Series)

Greetings all and Welcome to the very first blog post for Exclusive Multiplicity: Highlighting the Adventures of a Serial EntrepreneurA Tale of one Entrepreneur’s rise to success through bootstrapping while wearing flip-flops.

I’m the Entrepreneur in question Kindra Cotton, and this is the blog post that I will post every week to accompany my weekly podcast episode, which can be found by clicking on the word podcast within this blog, or via the player at the end of this post.

Since I design websites with the visually-impaired in mind, it just made logical sense to me that when I branched out into podcasting, that I'd continue my commitment to accessibility, so if you click on the "Transcripts" link near the top of this, you'll be able to find transcripted episodes associated with each podcast as well.  I'm still working on the best way to incorporate the transcripts into this blog, so please bear with me.

I appreciate you visiting my blog, and I hope you will sign in and leave some comments and feedback.  My goal is to write a blog on a weekly basis to accompany the Exclusive Multiplicity podcast, and I'm hoping that I’ll be able to share some insight about my experiences as an Up-and-Coming Serial Entrepreneur that can help other small business owners improve their business, or maybe even inspire someone to start a new one.

I decided to start this blog and podcast series because I wanted to script a better narrative around the struggles and triumphs of a multifaceted entrepreneur trying to create “something” from nothing. Or in other words, starting with tenacity, ambition, passion, and determination, but little-to-no money or cash to start with.

I got the idea for this "social media campaign" after interacting with fellow podcaster Cliff Ravenscraft of the Generally Speaking Production Network, also known as the “Podcast Answer Man”. One of his suggestions was to follow your passion and create work around it.

I’m very passionate about small businesses and entrepreneurs involved with small business ventures.  It’s always been something that’s close to my heart, because I love seeing the dedication that small business owners have to their companies, and how their investment in their companies show in how they service their customers.  I decided to channel this passion into this blog and podcast series, because I believe that by doing so I can better connect with like-minded individuals and hopefully not only help my own enterprises, but help others in the process.

I’ve titled this blog and podcast series “Exclusive Multiplicity: Highlighting the Adventures of a Serial Entrepreneur”, because I like the play on words of “Exclusive” and “Multiplicity” and how that relates to Serial Entrepreneurship. The title of the first podcast is “Generally Me”, because I spend most of my time giving my listening audience a "broad strokes" general picture of me and my personality, in hopes that it will shed some light on who I am, and why I’d be driven to produce such a blog/podcast series, as well as work towards achieving my entrepreneurial goals.

Feel free to listen to the podcast in its entirety to get the whole story, and in the meantime, I encourage you to leave comments, give me your feedback and constructive criticism, and feel free to link up with me via any of the social media tools listed under the Sociable Gadget to the right, or find me on Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn.  If you visit my main website, you’ll find links to the multiple ways that you can get in touch with me, or you can contact me via Skype at my name Kindra.Cotton.
