The Adventures of Being a Square Peg in a Round World

Hello and thanks for checking out this week's podcast entitled “The Adventures of Being a Square Peg in a Round World”.

In this week's podcast, I talk about finishing the book "Trust Agents: Using the Web to Build Influence, Improve Reputation, and Earn Trust" by Chris Brogan and Julien Smith, and I talk about the struggles of things getting progressively worse since last week, and how my triumph was knocking one my thing off my "To Do List" after reading the book.

I also share some "gems of wisdom" by giving some advice to anyone that can see fit to use it.  And they go as followed:
  1. Don’t take advice from someone you wouldn’t trade places with.
  2. Consider the source of the advice and then consider your similarities.
  3. Take everything with a grain of salt.
  4. Listen critically to criticism, but don’t let it derail you.
  5. Seek positive and uplifting encouragement.
  6. Get a real mentor.
  7. Write down your ideas and print them out, along with your goals.
  8. Remember how you felt at your worst point, then remember the advice you received, then ask yourself if sharing your advice is prudent!
  9. A few years ago, I came across a quote in a book, and it took me by storm, because it captivated perfectly my feelings on entrepreneurial creativity, tenacity, and determination, and here I’ll share it with you.  It’s by author and futurist Sir Arthur Charles Clarke (writer of “2001: A Space Odyssey”), and it goes (paraphrasing): “Every revolutionary idea evokes three stages of reaction: 1st – 'It’s completely impossible, don’t waste your time'; 2nd – 'It’s possible, but it’s not worth doing', and 3rd – 'I said it was a good idea all along'”.  I love this quote! LOL.
Please feel free to leave comments below or give me your feedback directly, either by email “podcasts @ exclusivemultiplicity.com”, or by finding me on Facebook, Twitter (@KindraCotton), or LinkedIn.  You can also contact me via Skype at my name Kindra.Cotton, and you can now call me on my Google Voice line at: (201) 870-0234.  If you leave a message on my Google Voicemail line, please be sure to mention which podcast you listened to.

Transcripts Now Available Upon Request

The method of posting a long list of transcripts on the "Transcripts" page, simply isn't working.

It isn't efficient for me to post, and it surely isn't efficient for readers to have to scroll for pages and pages in order to read a new week's content.

Therefore, Transcripts are now available upon request.

If you'd like a transcript of a previously posted episode, please email "transcripts[at]exclusivemultiplicity.com" with the title and/or date, and I'll get one promptly sent out to you.

If you know of a solution to getting transcripts disseminated in a more seamlessly integrated way, please let me know.

Thanks for your continued support.
