The Adventures of Being Evicted

Hello and thanks for checking out this week's podcast entitled "The Adventures of Being Evicted".

How Schatten Properties of Nashville, TN treats some of their residents.
I'm uploading this week's podcast a bit later than normal because I knew this was going to be a long day, but an important one to document.

I'll begin by saying that I started off this week with the monumental feeling that it was gonna be AWESOME, and despite me knowing that there was a lot of “bad” on the horizon, I’m still convinced that this week is going to have a great ending.  At this point, I'm not sure if I’m crazy thought. LOL.

I went to court today and the end result is that I'm being evicted from my apartment.  I have come to regard my landlord "Schatten Properties of Nashville, Tennessee” as a bunch of jerks, and I'm glad that I live in a country where I can say that and not end up in jail (especially since, in my opinion it's true).  I think they suck, but they’ll continue to do business and get residents because they’re still $200/month cheaper than the complexes located nearby, and most people will make a decision based on money, and disregard a lot of the other stuff that's not included at the cheaper price, like good customer service and amicable landlords.

It is what it is.  I’ve been living here for 3 quarters of the time I’ve been in Nashville, and I would have preferred if things didn’t end on an acrimonious note, but it did, and that’s pretty much that.

The triumphs of this week would have to be my continued perseverance.  Things are still slowly but surely starting to happen for me with my business, and I’m excited about that moving forward.  Plus, I’ve been contacted about a few writing projects on some of my areas of expertise, so that’s exciting, as I continue to create good content and show that I do know what I’m talking about!

It’s going to be a tough couple of weeks ahead, but I’ll get through it.
